It is with a heavy heart that we must announce the cancelation of Metamora Canal Days this year. For the vendors who rent from Historic Metamora Inc., you will receive an email notifying you of this decision along with pertinent rental information. For those vendors who rent from Duck Creek and Gateway Park, you will be contacted by the appropriate organization. Vendors who rent from private property owners need to reach out to them if they don't contact you. Our permanent shops and restaurants will be open as usual that weekend and you are more than welcome to visit them. We will miss you all very much this October and will look forward to seeing you on Canal Days : Oct 1-3, 2021.

For over 50 years Canal Days has happened on the first weekend of October. Beginning on the first Friday occurring in October it runs for three days, ending on Sunday. It is our busiest weekend of the year, with vendor booths set up all over town. Thousands of visitors come to find treasures and bargains.
Historic Metamora manages the spaces along Main Street and the Whitewater Canal, where antiques and collectibles are featured. In the Mill Park we rent spaces to individuals selling their own handcrafted items. Food vendors and those selling other types of merchandise will need to make individual arrangements with private landowners to rent spaces.
